The Special Forces Association
The Special Forces Association is a non-profit 501(c)(19) Veteran Service Organization with over 9,700 active members and 85 Chapters located throughout the United States and eight Countries around the world. One of the primary missions is to promote and support the general welfare of the Special Forces community, which is accomplished through three funds: The Emergency Relief Fund that provides immediate financial assistance to eligible members, their spouses, children, and grand-children in times of natural and unexpected disasters, the Scholarship Fund, an annual education assistance program providing education scholarships based on merit to children and grand-children of SFA members; and The Patriot Fund. established in 2007, provides support and assistance to the JFK Special Warfare Center and School, The Special Forces Command, and seven Special Forces Groups and Their families primarily through the Family Readiness Groups and the US Special Operations Command Care Coalition.
Special Forces Charitable Trust
Special Forces Charitable Trust is an organization that provides personalized service, support and advocacy solely for active duty and retired Special Forces qualified personnel and their families. The SFCT is the information, resource and referral provider 501c3 organization for the SF community.
Green Beret Foundation
Green Beret Foundation provides unconventional resources to facilitate the special needs of our wounded, and provide unique support to the Special Forces Community in order to strengthen readiness and uphold “Green Beret” traditions and values.
OASIS (Operational Advocates Supporting Injured Soldiers)
OASIS (Operational Advocates Supporting Injured Soldiers) is a new organization which will is dedicated to providing active duty and former SOF personnel with technical advice and assistance on claims filed with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and to providing the spouses and children of active duty and former SOF soldiers and POWs with the capability of determining their potential benefits and provide technical assistance in obtaining those benefits.
Disabled American Veterans
Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families. The organization accomplishes this goal by providing free assistance to veterans in obtaining all the benefits and services earned through their military service.
Veterans Administration provides information on all benefits to which service members are entitled such as education, insurance, home loans, disability claims and many more services.
The Special Forces Scholarship Fund
The Special Forces Scholarship Fund (SFSF) will recognize the service of Green Beret families by awarding merit-based post secondary educational scholarships to the daughters and sons of current and veteran Special Forces Soldiers. The Special Forces Scholarship Fund provides, for the first time in the 59 year history of the Green Berets, a merit-based scholarship opportunity for the children of Army Special Forces. This is the only fund whose sole purpose is to provide scholarships to children of Green Berets.
