Sawadee Kap, Sir!!
Sawadee Captaindale. I was a member of 46th "C" Team back in 69-70. I operated out of HQ as a Commcenter Supv. I worked along with SSG John Putman. Very glad to catch you out here. Do you remember SGM Grissom, Maj Stevens, SGM Mack, Col Paul Combs, Sp5 Brickhouse, 1lt Stackhouse, SFC Al Cutno, Sp5 Ollie Brown, Sp5 Bill Carruth (rigger), SGT Robedeaux?? One of my best duty tours.. Loved it!!

I was CO of MMFVF in Hua Hin in 69. During 70 I was CO DepChief JUSMAG (Laos Team) and for the last 8 months of my 2 year assignment I was S3 Air at Soi Ruam Rudi, Bangkok. If any of that is helpful in your quest let me know. Maj Mike C.

Montagnard Advisors
Gentlemen,
My name is Maj Carlos "Mess" Messer (USAF) and I am currently a student at Air Command and Staff College. I am working on a research paper that deals specifically with the Montagnards and I am looking for SF members who served directly with the tribes. Please contact me at carlos.messer@maxwell.af.mil if you know of any individuals who may be interested in assisting me. Thank you.

Captain Dale:
I served in Lop Buri my final six months. Left in Feb. of 1969 so my not have met you. I was one of the RTT shift supervisors and Warrant Officer Krauss was my CO. Easily the best year of my life!! Served in Korat, Hua Hin, Konchanaburi and tdy to serveral A teams to help them set up their RTT's. (They preferred to use the cw's). I hope to catch some of those I served with on this site. Our CO was Lt. Colonel Robert Bartelt....a fine man. David G. Ames/SGT

Dave, your are right on point. You definitely refresh the memory banks with some of these names such as CW Moss (big bald headed Ranger), Mr Libby (WO), Krause, If I'm correct, Anchon was the tall Thai female that was dating the SP5 in finance?
My wife and I just returned from Thailand about 2 months ago. We returned to visit her family down in Phetburi. We drove up to Lopburi and you wouldn't believe the changes. Shopping malls, tour centers the works. And yes "monkey circle" is still alive and kicking. Dave thanks for bringing back the memories.
Choke dee and hope to catch you out there again.
