I too was with Rich in B Co 3/7th. I kept up with him over the years long after he was diagnosed with Cancer. He finally sucumbed to the disease, I don't remember when but its been at least 10 to 15 years. He had two sons who served in the Navy with the SEAL Teams. His youngest son, Matt spent his time with the 82nd and then got out and moved back to Ohio. Burlein still lives in Stuebenville/Mingo Junction, Ohio.
