Subject: Father Larry Apt
I have for some time been trying to find anyone who may have served with my father. We were stationed in Bad Tolz 63 -66,67. He returned back to Bragg and attended a few schools. He was accepted to flight school in late 67. I have found several people that knew him during his time in Vietnam (69-70). He was killed @ Ft. Benning in a Helo crash 2 Nov`71.

I would like to find someone who may have known him during his time in SF. I haven't had any luck at finding a message board to post a request. We have an unusual last name that a lot of people seem to remember. I would appreciate any help that you could provide.

His name was Lawrence Edward Apt (Larry Apt). He was an E-6 when we came back to the states and was promoted to E-7 before going to Flight School.
