Col. Jack Myron Mays. Retired. U.S.Army,60yrs.Died Friday,Dec.2,1994, after a courageous battle with cancer. Col. Mays was born in Kingsport, Tenn.He retired from the U.S. Army in the mid- 1980's to Fuquay-Varina, a suburb of Raleigh, North Carolina.His obitutary was listed in " The Raleigh News & Observer" on Dec. 4,1994.His ashes are buried at Arlington National Cemetery,Virginia.This information was e-mailed to me by Margaret Mays Dishner,Jack's sister who lives in Kingsport,Tenn.
